Caren
F. Mikesh, MD
Dr.
Caren F. Mikesh was born in Fargo, North Dakota.
She
attended UCLA where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated
cum laude. She then moved to New Orleans where she attended Tulane University
School of Medicine. After graduating, she remained at Tulane to complete
an internship in Internal Medicine and a Dermatology residency. She
was selected as Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Mikesh continues
to pursue academia as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology
at Tulane.
Dr. Mikesh has two children. She moved from New Orleans
to Naples in 2003. She is enjoying her new life in Naples and the many
wonderful people that she has met.
Dr.
Mikesh is on the medical staff of Naples Community Hospital. She is
a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (board certified),
a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society
for Dermatological Surgery. She is a member of Collier County Medical
Society, the Florida Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
She
also contributes to the Dermatology Foundation. She believes in giving
and supporting the community and volunteers at the Neighborhood Health
Clinic.
